Importance of a Clean and Inspect

posted in: Showcase, Work | 0

This is a Ruger BlackHawk that has hunted many hills and took many deer! It came in for bluing but as you can see when we got it apart there was quite a bit of rust built up. Any time your firearm get’s wet, any morning when it is waiting in the damp to do it’s job you are exposing it to elements that will eventually corrode and destroy it. This BlackHawk looked decent on the outside but once we got in it….

Swing by once a year for a clean and inspect of your guns. Make them last forever and be family heirlooms. For those of you not in New England or Western Mass you can mail your firearms to us for all your gunsmithing needs and we will mail them right back once the work is complete!
